Post-It Note Planner

The entire point of the post-it planner, is to simply organize your day.  No long lists or color-coded charts (which I have used and they take more time then they're worth!) You have a folder for each category, and then you write down something you need to do on a post-it (don't use one color post-it for different tasks, trust me).  The post-it gets stuck on inside of the folder (left for immediate, right for "it can wait").  Then, when you complete the task, toss that post-it in the trash!  Easy!

Let me start by saying this was NOT my idea.  However, I did a few things to make it my own  Fabulous!  You can find the original post HERE. The post calls for a plain notebook, some post-its, a few tab dividers and a pen.  That's it! ... But not from my point of view :-)

Instead of a plain notebook, I used some manila folders (which I hole punched) and a small binder.

I stuck some post-it notes on the inside front cover (and being my OCD self it took almost half an hour contemplating all my arrangement options, then I had to precisely measure the distance between each one and make sure it was straight ^_^). I then put some little thought bubbles over each one that I've had laying around since middle school  that are really meant for pictures, but I thought they fit well.  They say "Hangin' Loose" "Please Write" "Wanna See My Tattoo?" "Go Ahead, Make My Day" and "Take Me I'm Yours!".  I had a nice giggle over it, and I felt super creative!

Now for the folders...

I only have three categories: Home, Finances and Pets.  Make more or different ones as you see fit, this is completely versatile.

Those are my post-its in action, and here's the finished product:

SO CUTE (and crafty and organized)!!

Then I added something to hold pens and such, and VOILA!

Don't feel like this is a huge project to tackle, it's quick and easy, and I didn't buy ANYTHING.  I used only things I had on hand.

Thanks for reading!
Good luck and let me know how it works out for you!
